Memorial Hospital West
Pembroke Pines, part of the Memorial Healthcare System. Out of network with Florida Blue since September 2025.
Saintellus Health Advisory is based in Sunrise. That means the Broward carrier list, the hospital network fights and the Sawgrass-corridor commute are things we deal with every week, not things we read about.

Sunrise sits in western Broward between three hospital systems that do not all take the same insurance. Most Sunrise residents end up at HCA Florida Westside Hospital in Plantation, Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, or Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, and Broward Health's hospitals cover the north of the county.
Two of those systems changed sides in 2025. Broward Health went out of network with Florida Blue on July 1, 2025, and Memorial Healthcare System followed on September 1, 2025, for employer, Medicare Advantage and ACA Marketplace plans alike. A Sunrise family on the wrong Florida Blue plan can find Memorial West, the closest large hospital to much of the city, out of network.
The response from those hospitals was 22 Health, a new plan for 2026 sold only in Broward County. It is worth comparing, and most national comparison sites do not show it.

The single most common regret in health insurance is a plan that did not include a doctor or hospital someone was already using. This is where we start, not where we finish.
Pembroke Pines, part of the Memorial Healthcare System. Out of network with Florida Blue since September 2025.
Plantation, just east of Sunrise. Participation varies by carrier and metal level, so check plan by plan.
Weston, south-west of Sunrise. Narrower network participation, which makes checking before you buy more important.
The public hospital district for the northern two thirds of the county. Out of network with Florida Blue since July 2025.
42.5% of Sunrise residents were born outside the U.S. and 46.3% speak a language other than English at home. We work in English and Spanish.
Real estate, rideshare, trades, and the many small offices around Sawgrass. No employer plan means you choose your own, and the cheapest premium is rarely the cheapest year.
Almost one in five Sunrise residents is 65 or older, and many more are close. The years between an employer plan and Medicare are the ones worth planning carefully.

Carrier names are trademarks of their respective owners. Saintellus Health Advisory is an independent advisor.
Saintellus Health Advisory is an independent agency based in Sunrise, in the Fort Lauderdale area, and licensed across 32 states. Independent means we are not tied to one carrier: we compare 11 on-exchange companies in Broward County alongside private off-exchange plans, employer options and COBRA, then tell you plainly which one fits.
There is no fee for that. The carrier compensates the advisor when someone enrolls, and that compensation is already built into the plan’s filed rate — your premium is identical whether you enroll with us, on your own, or through another agent. What you get for using one is somebody who has read the network directory.
Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027, with December 15, 2026 the deadline for coverage starting January 1. Outside that window you need a qualifying life event — losing job coverage, moving, marriage, a birth — and those have deadlines of their own, usually 60 days.
Yes. Saintellus Health Advisory is a licensed, independent health insurance advisory based in Sunrise. We work by phone and video across Broward County, and we are licensed in 32 states if you or your family live elsewhere.

For the 2026 plan year, Florida regulators put the average Silver premium for a 28-year-old earning $35,000 in Broward at $665 a month before subsidies and $306 after. Your number depends on age, household, income and plan, so treat it as a reference point, not a quote.
No. There is no consultation or service fee. The carrier pays the advisor when someone enrolls, and that is already built into the plan's filed rate, so your premium is the same whether you enroll with us or on your own.
